I created this space for mothers who have faced the unthinkable  the loss of a child. When I lost my son, Petty Officer 2nd Class Anthony Michael, I felt like my world stopped. The words he always said to me, “Mom, it’ll be aight,” became both my heartbreak and my healing.

This movement  M.I.B.A. was born out of that same love and pain. Here, we honor our children’s memory, embrace our grief, and learn to keep living together.
